Notgeld collectors will no doubt come across several issues of anti-semitic pieces. Some pieces are relatively 'common', whilst others (eg) Bremen - Deutscher Tag and Rudolstadt - Schutz- und Trutzbund are not. Below can be seen the obverse (front) and the reverse (back) of the 5m & 2m Deutscher Tag pieces.

The following picture shows a Jewish lady cavorting around a pillar, with Jewish men and their stereo-typical features, looking on.

The 1m note from Beverungen, illustrated above, portrays a Jewish chamber-pot seller trying to sell his wares. It says; "In the Autumn a trader offered a woman one of his wares. He was selling pots, of every shape, including chamber pots. Indignantly the woman cries 'Go away, that one's far too big for that purpose.' But David replies 'It's the right one - now the nights are getting longer.'

The note comes in 3 colours, blue, brown and olive-green. The coloured side showing the Jewish vendor is the same on all 3 notes.
